      Luther and Susan Ludwig, founders of Laughterworks Unlimited and Nashville Laughter Yoga,are Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers who trained in California in 2007 with Dr.Madan Kataria, creator of Laughter Yoga International. The Ludwigs conduct laughter leader trainings for people who would like to lead laughter groups or use laughter in health, recreation, or work settings. They lead a weekly social laughter group at Back In Touch and Park Manor in Nashville, and have given laughter presentations at community organizations including churches, wellness fairs, agricultural extension meetings, and workplaces including the Nashville U.S. Attorney’s Office. The Ludwigs have also conducted certified laughter leader trainings at medical centers in middle Tennessee, a yoga center in North Carolina, at Back In Touch Wellness in Nashville, and at their home in Fairview, Tennessee and Sanata Teresa, New Mexico.


    Susan and Luther are available for presentations and participatory demonstrations for almost any occasion, such as parties, meetings, trainings, conferences, or sales blitzes. Nashville Laughter Yoga has been featured in articles in the Tennessean, Durham, North Carolina’s Herald-Sun , and in NFocus magazine, as well as in news videos of WSMV-TV, the Tennessean, and AOL's Cafe Mom.


    Susan studied social work in college and worked as Assistant Director of Customer Relations at a large retail corporation. She graduated from the Florida School of Massage and has practiced massage therapy in Middle Tennessee since 1987.


    Luther’s education includes a bachelor’s degree and graduate study in psychology. He worked in behavioral psychology and special education for a number of years. Luther studied massage therapy and has practiced massage therapy from 1989 to the present.


    From 1997 to 2010, Susan and Luther worked as owners of Back In Touch Wellness to bring together varied therapeutic and educational experiences to help people to cultivate vitality and balance in body, mind, and spirit. Laughter Yoga has given the Ludwigs wonderful new ways to promote relaxation, joy, creativity, and health.
